Application Support Consultant

Working alongside a growing, dedicated, talented and global Application Support team, we are looking for a strong Application Support Consultant based out of our New Jersey office.
You will have experience in a range of business & client facing applications, providing 1st & 2nd line support within a Helpdesk environment.
Our primary proprietary and 3rd party applications support marketing & procurement activity for our clients and you will be able to quickly adapt to these new applications and become ‘the expert’ in many.
You will triage requests, ensuring they are directed to the right team, provide clear communication to our clients and internal users from initiation, to closure to learnings.
A little about you and your role:
As you grow into a highly skilled Application Support Consultant you will ensure more incidents are resolved by you and therefore fewer incidents are escalated to the development, PMO or product management team to ensure their focus remains on business growth
You will maintain an excellent level of notes in relation to the incident
Maintain a knowledge base following each incident to enable self-serve and in doing so reduce the level of incidents reported
Ensure all incidents are correctly logged to support reporting requirements
You will be a key figure across the global business; and in demand; so previous helpdesk experience along with strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
You will have excellent customer facing expertise, be patient, organised, an exemplary listener and an adept problem solver.
